With a New Year comes new ways to get your work out on! From spinning to hot yoga to ballet barre classes, there are tons of new fitness programs to choose from.
I personally have vowed to incorporate a few classes into my weekly workout routine, so being the planner that I am I decided to do a bit of research to see what was trending in the world of workouts.
Not 10 minutes into my search I came across AquaCycling. Now this new fitness program is not offered across the country as of yet so you will have to live in or be visiting the New York area in order to take part, but it still had me interested and I figured some of our readers in New York would be too.
Aquacycling is exactly what the name says—underwater cycling. The bikes are placed in a pool and you literally pedal against the water resistance, with water up to your waist. This is clearly an underwater spin class.
With the ability to burn more than 800 calories during a single workout while also blasting away cellulite, this sounds like the perfect fitness routine for the glam mommy who doesn’t mind stepping into a bit of water in order to get fit.
