Bonjour Glams!
Paris Fashion Week has recently wrapped and the collections were gorgeous as ever. When reviewing the shows out of Paris in seasons past, I always connected with the older and more established houses. This season felt no different, with Vuitton, Lanvin and Chanel. But I have to admit that I was pleasantly taken away by a few quiet storms.
I found myself fawning over presentations from several up-and-coming designers and those who really were putting themselves out there.
There’s no denying that designers like Sonia Rykiel, Rochas and Louis Vuitton always give you something to look forward to, but smaller brands like Barabara Bui and Gareth Pugh really seemed to deliver the goods. On the same note as New York, London and Milan, Parisienne designers have stuck to their guns and sent what they love and what they are known for down the catwalks.
Check out a few of our favorites that are sure to be added to our “Fashion Crush list:”

CHANEL: Nobody does it better than Karl Lagerfeld! The CHANEL brand is ever-evolving and every season he makes Cocos original CHANEL DNA come alive in a new and fresh way. The colors were mute, which felt just right. The floral appliqué felt ornate but not too much.

GIAMBATISTA VALLI: This collection was beautifully strong. There were beautiful pants and pant looks. The collection felt very femininely forward. I was especially in love with the feather miniskirt pictured above. It so reminded me of my wedding dress!

Elie Saab: This collection had a very sport influence, but was still extremely glam. We are loving the black lace gown paired with the black blazer. This felt very “BlackGlamourMom Chic!”

Emanuel Ungaro: This collection was all about bold shapes and sophisticated excess. We are loving the white lace top, white wide leg slacks and simple black belt pictured above.
