Double AirKiss Glams!
Designers out of Milan have sent their Spring 2015 designs waltzing down the runways. The look and feel this season took me back to the good old days of design; where craftsmanship, beautiful fabrics and originality were rulers of the land.
This season, designers based their collections on the root of their business. Alberta Feretti remained beautifully ethereal while the jet-setting girl about town at Gucci felt so familiar. And let us not forget Tom Ford whose collection made me want to revisit some vintage Gucci pieces from the closet. It was simply rocker sex-pot chic, which we all know Tom does so well.
Check out some of the looks definitely headed for the BGM “Fashion Crush” list.
BRUNELLO CUCINELLI: One of my favorite collections this season. Classically chic , dapper, sexy and cheerful. Ethnic influences with the use of Ostrich feathers and raffia. Huge athletic influence (continuing trend glams)
Dsquared: Think all-over beadwork, slouchy pants and thigh high boots.
Gucci: This collection was totally 70’s girl-about-town. There were lots of glammed out details for this collection.
Tom Ford: This collection was Rocker-Chic as only Tom Ford can do it. Lots of Tuxedoes and slim-fitting jackets. Gosh I love that black Tuxedo!
No. 21: Think belted looks and more belted looks! The designer also did mules with big bows slung to the side.
So glams, what do you think? Which designer is your favorite from the Milan shows?
