Glams,
Spring is here which means that wedding season is in full swing! I personally have two weddings confirmed this season, including one that will take place in Las Vegas in less than a month—and yes, I still need to find my look!
If you’re like me and aren’t actually a part of the wedding party, then you have a chance to go out and do a little shopping to find that perfect look for the event. The key of course is to not upstage the bride, but simply to look super chic while at the same time giving off pure glam.
When it comes to my fashion game, you all know that I am totally all about remixing key pieces. This is a huge reason why I am such a fan of buying timeless fashion. With the idea of shopping for classic pieces in mind, we’ve rounded up three of our favorite wedding trends to rock this season.
Trend Number One: Black & White
The colors Black and White are always a great go to when getting dressed as a guest at a spring wedding. It’s easy and fresh and a great indicator to spring. You could rock a pair of spectator pumps or a striped handbag or even take on the look by color blocking your outfit. The other thing I love about a black and white look is that it is perfect for both a day and evening affair.

Shoe: Simple Strap Red Sandal by Schutz Dubia – $180 – www.dailylook.com
TREND Number Two: COLOR EXPLOSION
There is no truer indication of spring and summer being in the air than the appearance of color in a woman’s wardrobe. Sounds silly, but I think color brings a sense of joy and love to anything. And what better way to feel at a wedding. Just like the Black&White trend mentioned above, this is an excellent way to play with the idea of color blocking. I always love florals and floral prints for spring. It always gives me a feeling of femininity of softness that I think is appropriate for a wedding.

TREND Number Three: STATEMENT JEWELRY
This is my tried and true “Go To” when getting dressed for any occasion. But for a wedding, a clean look with a great piece of statement jewelry always rocks it out. Chunky necklaces like you see here or a statement pair of earrings or cocktail ring, always bring a sense of glamour to a look. Again, its an amazing direction for not upstaging the bride but still looking good.
