Tune In: Kelis Shares Her Holiday Dishes, Opens Up Home For Cooking Special

Let’s face it, a mommy who can kill the fashion game and also burn in the kitchen is what we over at BlackGlamourMom like to call “SuperGlam!”
A perfect example: Celeb Glam Mom and Singer Kelis.
Kelis, a le Cordon Bleu-certified chef and saucier has been sharing her love for cooking via social media for a while. But not until now, is she opening up her home and sharing some of her favorite holiday dishes in the upcoming cooking special, Holiday Feast with Kelis, which airs on the Cooking Channel on Sunday, December 7 at 8 p.m.
Kelis recently chatted with ESSENCE magazine and shared how rewarding the holiday time can be. “Opening up a great bottle of wine and breaking bread with people you love. You get to sit down and see how happy everyone is and (they’re) in such a great mood. No one has to go to work the next day. Just spending time with people, that’s the most rewarding part.”
Kelis will be making some of her favorite holiday dishes, including a Puerto Rican roasted pork called Pernil, skillet Cornbread with Candied Ginger, Carrot and Yam Souffle, Chorizo Stuffing withdates AND Kelis’ Zesty Whole Grain Mac n’ Cheese.
