Celeb Moms Get Glam For Breast Cancer Awareness Month Campaign
Hi Glams,
Breast Cancer Awareness month is in full swing, and we over at BlackGlamourMom, want to continue to do our part to raise awareness around the importance of early detection.
Some of our favorite glam moms, including Model Eva Marcille, Reality Star Emily B and Breast Cancer Survivor/Founder of The Pink Line Michel Sproles, have joined forces in the fight against breast cancer. The ladies all appear in The Pink Line Breast Cancer Awareness Photo Campaign.
Michel Sproles, breast cancer survivor and wife of Philadelphia Eagles’ running back, Darren Sproles, created The Pink Line after she was diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer at the age of 28. In an effort to help bring awareness to a disease affecting women of our demographic, Michel created The Pink Line to encourage young, African American women to know their bodies and be proactive when it comes to their breast health. As the founder and a breast cancer survivor herself, she wants every woman to know that Age Doesn’t Define Your Status (A.D.D.Y.S), so it’s extremely important to know your status…at any age.
Proceeds from the sale of The Pink Line will go towards making custom wigs and hair units for cancer patients and survivors.
Meelah Williams, Angel Conwell, RaVaughn and Miss Diddy, also join Eva Marcille, Emily B and Founder Michel Sproles in the campaign.
