Hi Glams!

So I recently celebrated a birthday! It was actually almost a month ago, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. Gosh was it a fun weekend!  Birthday’s are one of those times during the year that I really like to glam it up and have a good time. This year was clearly no exception to the game! A special big thanks to my husband for making my birthday super special. What mommy doesn’t need a fancy dinner, a staycation, lots of champagne and a new handbag?

As a very busy career mom of a two-year-old, I can admit that I am very proud of all that I have accomplished over the past year. Not only am I balancing my life as a wife and career mom, but I am also still rocking it out with my promise to never let the “six-inch heels get left behind, just because the pregnancy test showed double lines.” Trust me, there are clearly days where my “mommy flow” is in full swing, but 99.5 percent of the time, I am stepping out and facing the world in pure glam-mode!  Over the course of the past year, I have been tirelessly working to make this blog become one of the top go-to destinations for those “self-confessed glamourmoms” and boy has it been busy, but extremely fun!

So, with such good vibes flowing, I wanted to pull together a look that was both effortless, yet sexy chic.  I knew that I wanted to rock a jumpsuit, but it had to be one that was extremely easy to get in-and-out of. (This mommy has potty issues when sipping cocktails!)

After a bit of searching, I fell in love with this Nasty Gal Midnight Run Jumpsuit. Not only was the all black jumpsuit super sexy, but it was also super inexpensive in comparison to other jumpsuits I’ve purchased in the past. The fit of this jumper was amazing and I loved the plunging sweetheart neckline, side cutouts and pockets. I just love wearing a jumpsuit where I can stick my hands in side pockets if need be.

I topped my look off with a pair of Christian Louboutin Spikeme PVC heels, which I recently picked up on a weekend getaway to Chicago, an armful of gold bangles and colorful chandelier beaded earrings.

Since it was my birthday weekend, I dediced to go get the beatdown by one of my favorite makeup artists, Tayla Ashford! I’ve been rocking with this glam mommy for a while now and she did not disappoint. I asked for a simple golden look and that’s totally what she gave me!
