BGM Fashion Crush: Small Wallets

It’s that time Glams!!!

If I haven’t said it enough, I will say it one more time… Quick and Easy are the name of the fashion game when it comes to getting dressed as a mother. I love it when an item is a simple “grab-n-go,”—All the glam without all of the fuss.

The idea of the small catch-all wallet or pochette really appeals to me. Unlike the totes, hobos and satchels, filled with everything but the kitchen sink, you are forced to edit down to the bare essentials, which sometimes is really nice, especially after having to tote around diaper bags and big handbags!

Now granted, I totally get that we can’t go around carrying small wallets while still toting around a child in diapers, however, if you are having a date night or an evening out with the girls, this is the perfect fashion accessory to add to your hit list!

These days, I have been seeing them more and more. From quirky versions to others made out of clear plastic to still others being made out of stingray. But thinking about it, I guess they’ve always been around. I remember when Coach introduced their small wristlet. It was the “Must Have” item of the day. My little sister, and fellow BGM, had it in three different colors and by the end of their fashion run, they had looked like they had traveled through World War I, II and III.
