Hiya Glams!!!
My apologies for the delay in posts as I have been crazy busy getting ready for two major PR Events: The BET Awards and The Essence Festival.
Is it just me or do you constantly find yourself shopping for your little one? My little sonshine is seriously rivaling his mommy when it comes to clothes in the closet. From drop crotch sweatpants, denim and designer jeans to luxury branded t-shirts and a Jordan collection, that would make Michael himself take a double take, my eye is always peeled for the flyest threads for my little man.
On a recent work trip to NYC for the Tribeca Film Festival, I had a little down time (imagine that) and was making my rounds to my normal clothing stops when I stumbled across this gem of a space selling one of the coolest kids clothing lines I’ve ever seen. Trico Field is a Japanese based children’s clothing brand that’s made its way to the states. It’s seriously like The Gap on steroids.
Picture me in this shop, flipping through the racks and imagining my son and niece in EVERY SINGLE outfit. It gave me a little Fashion Pani (that’s a mild fashion panic attack). There was a rugby striped jacket layered over an athletic henley tee with the cutest hint of punk. The vibrant but washed down colors and pattern mixing details made the clothes feel really fun. The most awesome idea behind Trico Field is that everything mixes and matches and seems to all come together in the end. Which makes dressing the little ones a tad bit quicker too.
All in all, I was super impressed with this children’s boutique and wanted to share it with you all. Definitely perfect for those mommies looking to pencil their child in on the “Best Dressed Toddler List.”
Check’em out Glams and let us over at BlackGlamourMom know what you think.
