BGM Beauty Scoop: Christian Louboutin Launches Nail Polish Collection

As if I wasn’t already obsessed with the sexiness of walking around in an amazing pair of Christian Louboutin heels, one of my favorite shoe designers has launched a collection of nail polishes!
The collection, which features 31 shades of polishes, will be sold for $50 a bottle at Saks Fifth Avenue, NeimanMarcus and select Sephora stores beginning August 6.
Mr. Louboutin actually created the signature red sole that us glam moms have grown to adore after grabbing a bottle of red nail polish from his assistant and painting it on the bottom of a shoe. The rest is shoe history. (Now how come I couldn’t have thought of that? Sorry I digress!)
Any who, outside of the amazing shades of polish, the bottle is also what has my stomach doing flip-flops! The polishes come in strikingly tall, spiky bottles that make for great conversation pieces as well as the perfect calligraphy like pen to use during your application.
The designer grouped his polishes into three color families — Pop, Nude and Noir — with the signature Louboutin red getting its own special packaging: a glass orb in gradient shades of black,with a black cap taller than the rest.
With Rouge Louboutin (Top Picture) debuting first on Aug. 6, followed by 30 additional shades on Aug. 31, us glams are going to be in for such an end of summer beauty treat!
