4 Tips For Keeping It Glam While On The Move

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I not only love embracing all that’s Glam in life, but that I am also a firm believer in doing so with ease. Whether I’m traveling on business or taking a much-needed weekend getaway, you can bet your favorite pair of Azzadine Alia heels that I will not only get Glam, but I will do it with ease.

As busy moms, we often don’t have the time or the energy to spend hours in front of the mirror primping for a busy day at the office or for even a weekend lunch catch-up with the girls, particularly when we have busy children buzzing around the house.

In an effort to share what’s worked for me, I’m dishing out to you four of my tried and true tips for keeping it GLAM while on the move:

There’s Nothing Like A Little Evening Prep
If I’m fortunate enough to know what’s on my schedule the evening before, I find that it’s truly beneficial to try to prep as much as possible the night before. Whether that means cleaning my makeup brushes, pulling out my pantyhose and undergarments or running a steamer over my blouse, I try to do as much prep the day before as possible.

Simplify Your Makeup Routine
Although many of us GLAM moms love to have a face that’s completely dolled up, more often that not, time is just not on our side. One of my favorite No Fail tips has been simplifying my makeup routine. By focusing on accentuating certain areas of my face, like my cheeks and eyes, I’ve created a seamless, yet glam makeup routine that has both kept me sane and on time.

Adopt A No-Fuss Hair Routine
Ok, I admit it. I am completely obsessed when it comes to my hair. I not only have a standing weekly hair appointment, but I am also obsessive compulsive when it comes to ensuring that whatever style I’m rocking is as low maintenance as possible. For me, this “No Fuss” approach has saved me oodles of time in the AM as I’m not spending hours trying to re-curl or press out my hair each morning.

Handle The Beauty Routines on The Weekend
My weekend’s are not only spent practicing both letter and number recognition with my son, but they are also used as an opportunity for me to take care of my Glam beauty mandatories. Whether I am getting my eyebrows waxed, having a new polish color applied to my nails or indulging in a massage, I pretty much relegate all of my beauty routines to the weekend. This has been a ritual of mine for at least the past seven years and I tell you, it definitely saves me time as I look to stay Glam while on the go.
